Tadworth is a large rural village in Surrey. It is in the south-east of the Epsom Downs. This village is the part of the North Downs and part of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead. According to the 2001 census, Tadworth village had a population of 9,522.
Nearby villages include Walton-on-the-Hill, Epsom, Kingswood, Burgh, Reigate, Heath, and Banstead. Tadworth lay inside the Copthorne hundred. The whole town sits on top of the North Downs and, taken as an entire slope very steadily from the north from 180 meters AOD in the south to 151 meters AOD at the top of Langley Vale.
